We all face times in life where we struggle and find it difficult to know how to move forward. Counselling provides a safe, confidential space away from the pressures of daily life where you can explore this with a trained professional who listens without judgement, helping you to discover new perspectives on yourself and your relationships.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has additional benefits in helping you to understand any unhelpful thought patterns and behaviour that contribute to keeping unwanted feelings going, and learning techniques and strategies to address this which you can continue to benefit from long after the sessions have ended.
My Approach
Warm
You'll be met with kindness and understanding in a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable sharing whatever is on your mind.
Collaborative
We’ll work together as a team, combining your perspectives and goals with my knowledge and experience of helping clients with similar concerns.
Change-focused
We will consider how past experiences have shaped you, but always with a view to improving your life in the present. We will explore practical strategies that you can apply between sessions to help create meaningful and lasting change.
