About Me

I am a highly qualified CBT therapist with extensive training and experience in counselling and psychotherapy. My passion lies in helping individuals overcome their challenges and improve their emotional well-being.

I completed the first stage of my training using a pluralistic/integrative approach, learning to draw on a range of therapeutic models to understand the diverse ways people experience and work through difficulties. This broad foundation helped me appreciate that no two clients are the same, and that therapy works best when it is shaped around the individual.

I moved towards Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and chose to specialise in this after seeing the benefits of its structured, evidence-based methods in helping people create significant improvements in their lives in a short amount of time. Of the four years of training I have completed at postgraduate level, two of these were focused solely on CBT.

Specialising in CBT has allowed me to focus on practical strategies that empower clients to challenge unhelpful patterns and develop new ways of thinking and behaving. I value its collaborative style and clear focus on goals, while continuing to bring the sensitivity and breadth of understanding I gained from my integrative training.

As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) you can be assured that I adhere to the highest professional standards.
